Isabel Ordoñez was a PhD stundet at Chalmers connected to Mistra Urban Futures. In January 2017 she presented her doctoral thesis. 

In the thesis Isabel has explored why it is difficult to recirculate discarded materials back to be used in new production. To do that she has looked at different stages of the material circulation process and then compared the barriers at different stages to see if there are any recognizable underlying factors that make material recovery difficult.
